Gunite / shotcrete pools
Our Swimming pool construction methods and techniques are constantly being developed as per industry standards. We are one of the very few companies in the country to use the Guniting concrete machines to make quick and more long-lasting pools for any of your special requirement.
Gunite and shotcrete are forms of pneumatically applied concrete, meaning they are sprayed on with a high-pressure air hose. Crews shoot the material over a reinforcing network of steel bars.The gunite is a mixture of cement and sand, the usual proportion being 1:2.5 :2,5 . A cement gun is used to deposit this mixture on the concrete surface under a pressure of about 20 to 30 N/cm2. Thus high compressive strength of about 56 to 70 n/mm2 at 28 days is generally obtained.
